Plas Newydd
Home of the Ladies of Llangollen (1780-1829), celebrated countrywide as their romantic friendship became known throughout Regency society. The house retains the Gothic features they introduced, while the grounds contain the peace and tranquillity they sought. Stable Tea Room also available.

Valle Crusis Abbey
Valle Crucis, Valley of the Cross, takes its name from the nearby 9th century Pillar of Eliseg. A visit to this fascinating site evokes the lives of the Cistercian Monks. The Abbey lies serenely two miles outside Llangollen at the foot of the Horseshoe Pass.

The Horseshoe Psss
There is something for everyone in Llangollen at all times of the year and the Horseshoe Pass is just one of the many tourist attractions for you to see. It gets its name from the shape the road makes round the valley leading out of Llangollen and offers some of the most beautiful scenery that North Wales has to offer. The Ponderosa Cafe now sits at the top of the pass which is popular with tourists and motorcyclists.
