There are many beautiful walks in North Wales and in particular Llangollen and the surrounding area.
The most famous perhaps being Offa's Dyke path. This is one of only twelve designated National Trails. Built by Offa, King of Mercia in 757 to 796 AD the dyke forms the boundary between England & Wales, running 182 miles from Prestatyn in the north to Sedbury, near Chepstow in the south. On the trail why not stop off at Bodidris Hall which is on the trail for coffee, a cream tea or fabulous £10 lunch with a free glass of wine.
